Welcome to RCC's website. I was born and raised in Canton, Ohio, known primarily for being the home of the National Professional Football Hall of Fame. We live, eat and breathe football in Ohio, but I have been in the Midwest now for nearly 30 years and have discovered there are other sports (hockey, basketball, baseball, soccer). Football, however, is still king.
I attended the University of Akron for one year to firmly determine that chemical engineering was not my vocational path. So it was off to Ozark Bible College in Joplin, Missouri to work on and receive a bachelor's degree in Bible. I also completed a master's degree at Cincinnati Christian Seminary.
After serving for 9 years in SE Kansas (Galesburg), our family moved to Rolla in May of 1993, just in time for the historic floods. What a welcome! Jana and I have been married for 25 years and we are the proud parents of Charles (a graduate student at the University of Missouri, Columbia) and Garrett (a registered radiologic technologist and third-year student at Drury University).
It is my heart's desire to continue to lead RCC to be effective and intentional in helping as many as possible to KNOW GOD, LOVE PEOPLE and SERVE BOTH God and people. Check out the rest of the site to learn more about us.

My ministry journey begins a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away... Wait, that's a different story! My REAL ministry journey begins around my third year of schooling at Rochester College, a small private Christian college in Northern Detroit. I entered college as a Psychology major. (I couldn't think of anything better to major in, so I chose Psychology) During my time at RC I had the opportunity to travel and minister in a theatre group, and it was on these trips that I was opened to the idea of ministry on a full time basis. One sunny morning at a camp somewhere in the midwest, I literally woke up KNOWING I was called to be a youth minister. So here I am, after 8 years of ministry in Michigan, Colorado, and Indiana, joining Ridgeview Christian Church as Associate Minister.
God has lead my family and I on an amazing journey full of highs and lows and I know he will bless us as we serve him in his kingdom in Rolla, MO.
