Our Vision:

A Church of People Who Know, Love, Go, and Disciple
  • Know - To Know God, His Love, and His actions on our behalf throughout history.
  • Love - To love God and love His creations.
  • Go - To bring our knowledge and love to the world through various acts of service and ministry.
  • Disciple - To know, love, and go in our own lives and the lives of others.

Individually, these four purposes can be accomplished through a great number of methods, but as a community of Christians: We start to Know through our commitment to meet together weekly to experience learning through worship, study, and communion. We start to Love through our commitment to meet in smaller groups so that we are enabled to love at least a small group of individuals. We start to Go through a commitment to join groups that serve our communities. We Disciple through a commitment to pursue Know, Love, and Go as a church and as individuals. We seek to give others the knowledge, love, and mission of God.

  • Know: Meet for worship services.
  • Love: Meet in Life Groups.
  • Go: Serve on Ministry Teams.
  • Disciple: Mentor others towards these goals.

We Believe:

  • That the Bible was written by man as inspired by God and, therefore, we accept it in all matters of faith and practice - 2 Timothy 3:16-17.
  • That salvation is
    • By grace - Ephesians 2:8-9
We are all separated from God because of our sin (Romans 3:23), but God loves us (John 3:16-17) and Jesus Christ, the Son of God, paid the penalty of our sin for us (1 Peter 3:18) and rose from the dead (Romans 6:8-9).
    • Through faith - Ephesians 2:8; Colossians 2:12
Our faith is expressed as genuine by trusting Him, confessing our trust (Romans 10:9-10), and repenting of our sin (Acts 2:38).
    • In baptism - Colossians 2:12
God has promised to give us new life as we are "buried in" and "raised out" of water, just as Christ was buried in the ground and rose from the dead (Romans 6:4).
    • For good works - Ephesians 2:10
We are not saved by our works, but in Christ we are empowered to serve Him (Romans 6:12-14; James 2:14-26).
